When the main S1 window is positioned on the second monitor, the mixing console opens on your main screen (laptop or PC) when it is expanded. The same thing has happened to me, but I worked out what was going on as I had a similar issue in my work position as an IT consultant with our own software. You might also try to reinstall you graphic drivers, look for DDU to cleanly remove your graphic drivers and reinstall them. Reinstall studio one, try to open the project without VST2s or VST3s activated (you can disable this in the options>services of Studio One - also try disabling other features in there and see what you can find) You have to go step by step to find the cause. It might be Studio One, it might be Windows, the screens. There seems to be a problem with your screens, but it's hard for me to guess what is causing the problem as there might be multiple reasons. Even if it's disconnected, the studio one window might still be there on the other screen. The main studio one window you don't see is probably there, somewhere. When I open the project, studio one stops responding.
